Rock, Paper, Scissors Shipping & Delivery Policy

Rock Paper Scissors ("we," "us," "our," or "RPS")

OUR COMMITMENT

We work hard to get your jewelry to you safely and on time. While we partner closely with trusted logistics providers and do everything we can to ensure smooth delivery, some delays are sometimes beyond our control—weather, traffic, or unexpected logistics challenges can happen. This policy outlines our shipping process and what to expect.

1. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of receipt.

  • Business days = Monday–Friday, excluding Indian public holidays.
  • Orders placed after 3:00 PM IST or on weekends will be processed the next business day.
  • During peak seasons (Diwali, Valentine's Day, festive periods, etc.), processing may take up to 5 business days.

Once your order ships, you'll get an email with a tracking ID, courier name, and expected delivery date.

Shipping charges ₹99 flat for orders below ₹1,000. We offer free Standard Shipping for orders above a certain threshold.

2. DELIVERY TIMELINES

Delivery typically takes 2–7 business days depending on your location and whether you're in a metro city.

  • Timelines are calculated from dispatch date, not order date.
  • Metro cities tend to see faster delivery (closer to 3–4 days), while non-metro areas may take longer (5–7 days).
  • While we work closely with our logistics partners to ensure timely delivery, occasional delays can happen due to weather, traffic, or unexpected logistics challenges—things beyond our control.
  • If delivery takes longer than expected, we encourage you to reach out at hello@rockpaper-scissors.com with your order ID, and we'll work with our logistics partner closely to get the order delivered at the earliest


3. DELIVERY & YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Providing the Right Address

Please make sure to provide a correct, complete address. Include:

  • Building name, flat number, or landmark
  • Accurate phone number for courier contact

If the package is returned to us due to an address issue, we may not be able to redeliver the order. In such cases, the order would be cancelled and you'd receive a refund to your original payment method, after deducting the cost of returning the order to origin


4. CASH ON DELIVERY (COD)

  • COD might not be available for select pin codes. However, that is a rare case. You'll see at checkout if your area does not qualify for COD.
  • We do our best to support COD, but we reserve the right to process certain orders as prepaid based on logistics or fraud prevention needs. You'll be notified if this applies to your order.


5. SPECIAL CASES

Undeliverable Areas

Through our logistics partners, we deliver across most of India, but there are some areas we can't reach:

  • Remote areas, high-altitude regions, and island territories
  • P.O. boxes, military addresses, or institutional addresses

If your pin code isn't serviceable, you'll see that at checkout and won't be able to place an order from that area.

International Orders

We don't have international shipping as a standard option. However, we'd love to help if you're ordering from outside India!

  • Details of the items you'd like
  • Your full address and location
  • Any other details we need to fulfill your order

We'll do our best to work with you on fulfilling your order and discuss any additional considerations (like shipping costs or timelines).

Partial Orders

If some items in your order are out of stock, we'll ship available items right away and send out-of-stock items separately within 2–3 additional days. No extra shipping charges, we've got you covered.

Scheduled Delivery / Custom Dates

We don't offer scheduled delivery slots or custom delivery times. If you need jewelry by a specific date, we'd recommend ordering a bit in advance to give us time to process and ship.


6. PACKAGING & SAFETY

All your jewelry ships in secure, tamper-proof boxes designed to protect items during transit.

Minor wear on the outer packaging is completely normal. Dents, creases, and scuffs happen when packages travel through courier hands—they don't affect your jewelry inside. You can safely accept packages with this kind of wear.

When your package arrives, go ahead and accept it. Then, take time at home to unbox it and inspect everything carefully. This is the most reliable way to check that everything is perfect, and you'll have peace of mind. We strongly suggest you record a video of unboxing the order.

If you discover any damage when you open the package, contact us within 48 hours with the unboxing video at hello@rockpaper-scissors.com. Our Returns & Refund Policy covers damage claims, and we'll replace your items at no cost, in accordance with our returns policy.

Response time: We aim to respond within 48-72 hours for most queries.

Need escalation? If something isn't resolved within 5 business days, just reply with "ESCALATION" in your email subject, and we'll prioritize it.


8. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

If a dispute arises, we'd love to resolve it directly with you first. In the worst case scenario we are not able to find a resolution mutually. You are free to avail your legal remedies.

Please note that this policy is governed by Indian law and the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, where RPS is headquartered.
